Trulie ("we", "our", or "the app") is an application published by Dev JLH. This policy explains how we handle information when you use Trulie.
Information Processed on Your Device
- Camera: Used to capture a short scan video and still frames. Processed locally on your device. Not uploaded to our servers.
- Microphone: Used during a scan to analyze voice level patterns. Processed locally. Not uploaded to our servers.
- Face data: Facial landmarks are detected on-device. We do not store, transmit, or sell biometric data.
- Pulse data: The camera is also used to detect pulse patterns via remote photoplethysmography (rPPG). Processed locally on your device. Not uploaded to our servers.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account.
- We do not collect name, email, or contact information through the app.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current version.
- We do not upload camera, microphone, face, pulse, or scan results to our servers.
How We Use Information
All processing happens on your device.
Age requirement
Trulie is intended for users 17 years of age and older. It is not directed at children or teens under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17.
Data Retention
Scan media remains in temporary app storage during your session. Local preferences (scan count, purchase flag) remain until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Your Choices
You can revoke camera or microphone permission in your device settings at any time. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.
